| Boyfriend is so ******* loud and obnoxious in public and is extremely offended by it when i tell him!!!!!!? We go out to places and if I say he's being inappropriate he yells, people are staring and when he's mad there's no calming him down. Yesterday, I was shopping on fifth ave and we were in abercrombie and fitch and he was yelling about he didn't like the store and it's for white people. He was complaining the line was too short. A woman was in front of us and I told him to settle down and he was like I don't care bout britney spears just being overly rude and I'm sure she heard him but he complains she didn't. SMH. He yells about little things in public and most of the time it be our business and like I said there's no calming him down. He's rude, he doesn't have manners, obnoxious and loud. I hate it! What should I do and he hates when I tell him. Can't blame people for making stereotypes about black people or any race for that matter. Why is he doing this? Why doesn't he understand that certain situations call for a certain behavior. Oh also he's in a bad situation going to the street for money, mother kicked him out and now living with cousin in a big unsanitary house, nobody been there for him, surviving on his own, etc. Help! |
| People, like dogs, need to be socialized. Your boyfriend clearly hasn't been taught how to behave in social situations. If you've told him off and he still doesn't listen then you might have to go look for a new guy. Seriously, you want someone who you can comfortably take out. From personal experience, you can't save everyone. His mother kicked him out, he needs to man up and find a job so he can sustain himself. It's a big shock if you're sent out too early, but you need to learn how to adjust. It's really not your place to try to save him and help him. For your sake, be honest with him and start looking for someone else, it will be a huge relief. |

If you are afraid of people judging you you should keep in mind that a lot of us are too busy worrying about how we look to even bother judging you on your appearance. Secondly WHO CARES? It may be something very important to you but to me if someone doesn't like the way I look then that's their problem, and they need to get a life, because its whats on the inside that counts. If your afraid of something happening think of the chances of something happening. They are very little. More good things happen in the world than bad. | What should I do Im 18 and got a ticket for being intoxicated in a public place? I live in canada and the drinking age is 19, I went to an all ages event and I showed the bouncer my ID which says im born 06/15/88 and he let me into the drinking area. I got pretty drunk not too bad tho. I was there for about 3 or 4 hours when I steped outside the bar/club for a minute. Befor I left I asked one of the bouncer will I be able to get back in and he said I had 15 minutes until they wernt letting anyone else in the club/bar. so I steped outside to talk to my buddies for a minute and when I tired to get back in one of the bouncers said I couldent get back in, I said you have to be joking right which he wasent so i called him a ******* *** hole and the he puched me and I snaped,so I grabed him and threw him to the ground and people had to get me off him them I totally lost it, just swearing and calling all of the bouncers on. cops came I ran, they got me, and gave me 2 tickets for treaspasing and being drunk in a public place. | I don't think screaming at your mom is going to solve the problem. It is a parents job to build their guy's self esteem, not humiliate them and insult them. If she doesn't know this already, you may not be able to change her. But I would ask her why she constantly calls you fat and tell her how that makes you feel about her. Most mothers wouldn't want to alienate their own guy. Is your mom overweight? Could she be afraid you will end up like her? It is still not an excuse for her behavior. When a guy is told they are fat constantly, they can start to believe it and it can destroy their self image or even create an eating disorder. I understand your anger. My mom said things like that to me when I was young and now I have grown guyren and I still haven't forgotten it. I wish I would have said something to her about it at the time. I don't know how old you are but I was a young teenager. I was not overweight at all. My mom wasn't overweight either. I know it would be hard, but I would say something without losing your temper. | Prep School, Public School, or Homeschooled? Ok So I went to public school (which is in New York) for freshman year, then I went to a prep school for this year (sophmore) and not, I am in a dilema because I really cant afford to go back to Prep school because we can't get any more financial aid, but the only way I can go back to my public school is by taking the stupid regent exams for geometry, biology, and global 2. I took a geometry and biology course this year but i haven't taken global two. So this is how ridiculous this is, I've learned ten times more at my new school this year and I have huge finals after every term, and now the ******* public school won't let me graduate without taking the geometry and biology exams, and taking global 2 class junior year..like wtf??? why the **** does NY have this regents law or whatever? all my public school cares about are the damn regents they don't even care about what we learn. So yeah I don't know what to do now and another option is to get a really good homeaschooling program to do at home which i really don't want to do because I will have no social life but like omg i'm like trapped I have no idea what to do! any advice? |
